TRAIL BLAZE FUN RUN -
Saturday, 29 August 2026
-
Bib Pickup: Bib pickup will be available on the day from 6:30am until 7:30am. A race briefing will be held at 7:45am, followed by the 15km start at 8:00am sharp. The 10km and 5km races will follow shortly after. Attending the briefing is important, as there will be key instructions to keep you on the course.
-
Location: Wungong Regional Park, Bedfordale, at the end of Admiral Road (before you reach Wungong Dam). Please note that there is almost no phone reception at this location. Be sure to take Admiral Road from Albany Highway - do not attempt to come from Admiral Road South off Nettleton Road in Byford - you will not be able to get through!
-
Parking: There are two decent-sized car parks nearby, but arriving early is recommended. A map showing the start/finish area and parking areas is shown above. The public toilets are closed, but portable toilets will be onsite.
-
Courses: GPX files and elevation graphs for each course are available below. The trails may be wet and slippery, so running shoes with good grip, such as trail shoes, are highly recommended. Each distance has a cut-off time of 3.5 hours.
-
Food and drink: There will be one hydration station along the course at a central location, offering water only. Approximate distances to the aid station for the three courses:
5km course: 2km & 3km mark
10km course: 5km mark
15km course: 8km mark
There will also be water and snacks available at the finish line. It is critical that you BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE CUP OR WATER BOTTLE, as no disposable cups will be provided.
-
We are pleased to have Jacked Up Coffee offering their amazing coffee and a range of food options at the starting area. Due to limited mobile reception please BRING CASH!!. Pindari will also be hosting a fundraising sausage sizzle, again cash only.
