Registration: Register online at https://raceroster.com/events/2026/112485/swan-river-half-marathon-and-fun-run-2026.(https://raceroster.com/events/2026/112485/swan-river-half-marathon-and-fun-run-2026) Select your distance (21.1km, 10km, or 5km), complete the form, and submit payment. You'll receive a confirmation email with your registration details.
Registration deadline: Online registration closes 1 week before the event or at capacity. No race day registration is available, so register early!
Refunds: Registrations are non-refundable (unless the event is cancelled) but can be transferred via your RaceRoster login. No refunds are given for no-shows on the day. Deferrals: Not available unless the event is cancelled.
Transfers: You can transfer your registration to another person up to one week prior to the event. This process, including payment for the ticket and a refund to you is managed through your RaceRoster account. Simply log into your RaceRoster account, select "Transfer," and enter the new participant's details, and RaceRoster handles the rest. Parking: Paid parking is available near the start/finish area along and around Ellam Street, but fills quickly after 6:30am. We strongly encourage carpooling, public transport, or cycling.
Public transport:
• Bus Route 32: Canning Hwy stop before Gwenyfred Rd (650m walk)
• Bus Route 910: Canning Hwy stop after Berwick St (550m walk) Check Transperth for Saturday timetables—services may be limited.
Bag storage: Available at the event marquee (unsecured). We recommend only storing essentials. No valuables should be left in bags - Soul Runners accepts no liability for lost/damaged items.
Arrival time: Arrive 45-60 minutes before your start time for parking, bag drop, toilets, and warm-up.
Start times:
• Race Briefing: 7:15am
• Half Marathon: 7:30am
• 10km: 7:40am
• 5km: 7:50am
Bib collection: Race bibs (with timing chips) can be collected at pre-event locations, or early morning on race day. Collection dates, times, and locations will be emailed several weeks prior. Bring your registration confirmation—you cannot race without your bib and chip.
Course: Predominantly flat with gentle rolling sections along the scenic Swan River foreshore with Perth city views. Ideal for first-timers and PB chasers. Fully marshalled with clear signage.
Water stations: Positioned at regular intervals (check course map closer to race day). Water and electrolyte drinks provided. Bring your own hydration on warmer days.
Cut-off time: 3 hours from your individual start time for all distances. Marshals remain until the final runner passes.
Measurement: The half marathon course is accurately measured but not certified. All distances are chip-timed.
Headphones: Discouraged for safety, especially for front runners. If used, keep volume low to hear marshals, other runners, and emergency instructions.
Pets, strollers, bikes: Dogs, pets, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, and wheeled devices (except approved racing wheelchairs) are not permitted for safety. Strollers/prams are allowed—please start at the back of the group.
Minimum age:
• Half Marathon (21.1km): 12 years old on race day
• 10km: 12 years old on race day
• 5km: All ages (under 12 must be accompanied by an adult)
Qualification: No qualification needed! Open to runners and walkers of all abilities, from elite athletes to first-timers. We encourage participants to train appropriately for their chosen distance.
Walking: Walkers are welcome in all distances. Please start toward the back of your wave to allow faster runners to pass safely, and be mindful of the 3-hour cut-off.

Collect refreshments immediately after finishing. Finisher area open until approximately 11:30am.
Results: Live results posted at my.raceresult.com. Link will be sent prior to the event and promoted on Facebook. QR codes displayed at the event to access results.
Weather cancellation: Event proceeds rain or shine. In the unlikely event of extreme weather cancellation (confirmed race morning only), participants will be notified via email, social media, and website. Entries may be deferred to the following year with refunds offered.
